The offer is for voluntary work experience, which is intended to complement your university studies.
It is a short-term unpaid work experience placement for the purpose of educational development, observation, and learning about the Company’s operations.
-
The primary purpose of this placement is learning and skill development. It is not intended to create an employment relationship, and the Student will not perform work that is integral to the Company’s business or that would ordinarily be performed by a paid employee.
-
Both Parties acknowledge that this arrangement is voluntary and unpaid.
The learning experience will focus on the structural engineering of buildings and in particular, structural calculations in MathCad.
I can offer accommodation - but you will have to pay rent (at $250 per week) for the duration of your stay.
